You’re not trying hard enough

Ok, we’re well into 2022, how are you tracking?

Are you on track, falling a little behind or are you ahead?

If you keep moving every day and you’re trying your best then that’s great, but if you’re still on holiday mode or haven’t made any progress then the only person you’re letting down is yourself and you need to try harder.

I say this not to shame you but to motivate you and bring to light that perhaps you’re falling back into bad habits that continue to keep you from living the life you want.

And it’s as easy as saying that if you’re still not where you want to be, then you’re not trying hard enough.

If you have time to watch a Netflix series, you have time to go to the gym or take a brisk walk.

If you have time to drive to a restaurant for takeaways, then you have time to cook your own meal because you already have the items at home.

If you have time to scroll through social media, you have to educate yourself and read a book or listen to a podcast and fill your mind with educational material to help you thrive.

If you have time to speak to your friend on the phone for hours, you have time to properly take care of your body with a good skin regiment.

If you have the cash to spend on new phones, apps, new clothes, shoes, or electronics, then you have enough cash to invest.

It’s all about perspective.

So, if you’re not where you want to be, grab a notebook, or write on your phone what you do at what times and be honest with yourself.

How long are you on social media, what kind of food are you eating, how are you spending you time and your money?

And before you say, “I don’t have time for this”, ask yourself, are you trying hard enough?
